Who We Are
The Goal of this Diabetes & Medical Centre is to fight Diabetes completely and comprehensively. Lions club of Thane Kopri ( Chartered in 1987 ), one of the leading Lions Clubs of the District 3231 A2, is always in the forefront of social activities for several years. Our Signature activities like Eye check up Camps & Cataract Operations, Multi diagnosis Medical check up Camps, Diabetes Check up Camps, Relieve the Hunger etc. are already well-known in the society which are enhancing LCl's image in the society.
Lions Club of Thane Kopri conducts Diabetes Awareness, Check ups, screening, counseling for diabetes patients almost free of cost in the camps. These camps are conducted in Thane City & areas like Wada, Murbad, Shahapur of Thane District.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT
LCIF Diabetes Grant Project by Lions Club of Thane Kopri
The Lions Club of Thane Kopri celebrated a successful first step of their permanent Diabetes Project, funded by LCIF. There was a mesmerizing response from the public at Thane Railway Station for the first major grant activity.
Final Activity Report:
220 people checked for Random Blood Sugar, B.P. & BMI.
46 diabetic patients were identified and Tested for HbA1c
The event was honored by the presence of PMCC, LCIF Area Leader, Ln Hanuman Agarwal & D.G. Rajesh Ballamwar, who highly appreciated the team's work.
